Andy & Sheree Larsen
Country Managers of Central Asia
Sheree and Andy Larsen have a history of being involved in local and international humanitarian work. They have volunteered at local food banks and served as Court Appointed Special Advocates for youth in the foster care system in Utah. They served as Area Welfare Specialists on a mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints for 18 months living in Moscow, Russia. During this time, they supported and reviewed humanitarian projects in Russia, Belarus, Ukraine, Latvia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyz Republic, Armenia, Georgia, Moldova, Turkey, and Bulgaria. They also served for one year at LDS Church headquarters assisting and training other couples who were preparing to serve humanitarian missions around the world.
Sheree was employed by the Davis County, Utah School District for close to 20 years, much of the time working as a para-educator for developmentally challenged youth. She has also served in leadership positions in several different youth and women’s groups.
Andy worked at United Parcel Service for 38 years with experience in operational management, customer service, quality measurement, and vendor relations. As part of his responsibilities, he spent significant time in Guatemala and the Philippines developing internal and external management teams.
The Larsens have been married for 46 years and have 5 children and 19 grandchildren.
