The Stirling Foundation partnered with local village, district, and regional leaders to support the creation of the Asyl-Ai Community Center in the Jalal-Abad region of the Kyrgyz Republic. The center provides a welcoming space where persons with disabilities gather daily to learn new skills, create handcrafted goods, and participate more fully in community life. Through skill-building activities and opportunities for small-scale economic participation, the center fosters confidence, independence, and a greater sense of belonging while strengthening community support for inclusion and dignity.
