Josie McGhie
Regional Director of Eurasia
Josie McGhie is the Director for Eurasia and Eastern Europe at The Stirling Foundation, where she has served for five years. She brings extensive international experience, including more than 16 years living abroad and leadership and volunteer work with women’s and children’s organizations in Russia, the Netherlands, and the United States. She previously spent three years in Moscow mentoring more than 200 international volunteers.
Ms. McGhie holds a Bachelor’s degree in Health Education, a Secondary Education Teaching Certificate, and a Master of Public Health from Brigham Young University. She represents The Stirling Foundation on the American Uzbek Chamber of Commerce and is a co-author of two articles published in peer-reviewed journals. Passionate about equity and social impact, she is deeply committed to advancing fairness and opportunity. She resides in Frankfurt, Germany, with her husband Jeff; they have five children and three grandchildren.
