Matthew Meadows
Director of Global Partnerships & International Exchanges
Matt Meadows is the Director of Global Partnerships and International Exchanges for the Stirling Foundation. He worked in banking, customer service, as an English instructor, and in career assistance before joining the U.S. Department of State where he became a culturally adept leader, manager, collaborator, and community builder. He served as a Foreign Service Officer and Diplomat for over 21 years. His assignments included Manila, Philippines; Quito, Ecuador; Osaka, Japan; Washington DC; Lima, Peru; Bratislava, Slovakia; and Taipei, Taiwan in consular, economic, and management positions. He managed large overseas operations, served on numerous school boards, supported and built communities. He values mentoring, coaching, and bringing together diverse teams to deliver results. He seeks to make a positive difference by furthering the Stirling Foundation’s mission to collaborate to create lasting peace and prosperity for families, communities, and nations.
He has an International Relations Political Science undergraduate degree from the University of Utah and an MBA from the University of Washington. He loves learning, service, languages, culture, outdoor adventure, pickleball, and reading (especially science fiction). A native of Salt Lake City, Utah, Matt and his wife Stephanie have three children.
