Miles Hansen

Miles is the president, CEO, and a board director for The Stirling Foundation, a global philanthropic organization with initiatives in 50 countries around the world.
Miles also serves as the vice chairman of World Trade Center Utah, an organization that facilitates global growth for international businesses. Prior to joining The Stirling Foundation, Miles was the President and CEO of World Trade Center Utah. Miles also served as chairman of the Utah Inland Port Authority, commissioner on the State of Utah’s Economic Commission, member of the United States Trade Representative policy advisory committee, and director on several public and private boards. In 2022, Miles was honored by Utah Business as CEO of the Year.
Earlier in his career, Miles served in the White House during the first Trump Administration as the director of Gulf Affairs on the National Security Council. He also was a diplomat working on energy and business issues throughout the Middle East and Eurasia. He graduated with honors from Johns Hopkins University School of Advanced International Studies and with distinction from Brigham Young University.
Miles is an advisor to several international businesses and policy leaders; a director on public and private boards; the chairman of the Salt Lake City 2034 Winter Olympics International Committee and a member of its Steering Committee; and a frequent author and commentator on foreign affairs and international business.
