Cal and Shannon reside in Salt Lake City, Utah, and are passionate about Humanitarian work. For 9 years, Cal and Shannon served as Volunteer Technical Specialists for the Wheelchair Department of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. They supervised projects in the Kyrgyz Republic, Moldova, Georgia, Sri Lanka, and Nepal.

Shannon graduated from Orange Coast College in California with a degree in Fashion Merchandising. She helped co-found a local charity, Friend to Friend, which supports area schools with a variety of funding needs. She traveled to Haiti to assist in a rehabilitation center and an orphanage.

Cal graduated from Brigham Young University in Utah with a degree in Business Management. He spent 26 years as a partner and CEO of Utah Orthodontic Care. His Wheelchair training was completed in Ghana and Guyana.

Cal and Shannon have 5 children and 2 grandchildren.
