Sally Johnson
Executive Assistant & Exchange Manager
Sally joined The Stirling Foundation in 2021 as an executive assistant supporting the Vice President and Chief Relations Officer. She also supports the exchange work of the foundation and manages the foundation’s scholarship program.
In addition to her work at the foundation, Sally teaches research and writing at Utah Valley University. Prior to her work at The Stirling Foundation, Sally taught Latin at The Madeleine Choir School for two years and spent almost a decade contributing to Thomson Reuters as an editor and editorial team coordinator in Rochester, New York. While in New York, she also taught classical studies at St. John Fisher College and worked as an assistant in the Legislature Clerk’s Office of the Monroe County Legislature.
Sally received her bachelor’s and master’s degrees from Brigham Young University. As an undergraduate, she majored in English, Political Science, and Latin. As a graduate student, she studied Comparative Literature.
In her free time, Sally enjoys hiking, experimenting in the culinary arts, attending cultural events, reading, and creative writing. Sally and her husband, Mark, have been married since 1992 and have one daughter.
